JAMES ZANDSTRA

A co-founder of The Fair Chase, James grew up hunting and fishing in northern Michigan. He’s hunted and fished all around the country and likes to find new ways to prepare wild game. James loves meeting and learning from other outdoorsmen and women from around the country. James has a great fondness for hunting stories and enjoys engaging in discussions about hunting-related issues.

JARED GORTSEMA

A co-founder of The Fair Chase, Jared hails from Michigan and spends a lot of time in the woods.

As a Marine Corps Veteran and passionate outdoorsman, he is dedicated to preserving the hunting tradition for future generations.

JOE GRIFFIN

A former hunting guide, Joe has a deep passion for adventure. As a skilled hunter, he spends countless days exploring the remote wilderness every year. Joe is also dedicated to introducing new people to the world of hunting.

When we started looking at partners within the outdoor community that align with our interests and values, Jared was a natural fit.

Jared’s an incredibly knowledgeable outdoorsman who loves to educate and learn along with the friends and fans he’s cultivated over the years. We value his input on our current gear and we’re excited to have him help us shape the future of our brand.

KURT BELDING

If you can describe one word to Kurt it’s “passion,” and we love it. His passion for fitness, mentorship, and hunting are what put Kurt on our radar as someone we want to partner with so we can learn and grow the TUO brand together. He brings a unique perspective on what it means to have gear that moves with you and helps you achieve more and not hold you back in any way.

ETHAN STUBBS

Born and raised in the remote landscapes of Northeast Iowa, Ethan Stubbs developed a deep connection to the outdoors at an early age, chasing Walker coonhounds through the rugged river valleys of the Driftless Region. His passion quickly expanded into turkey and whitetail hunting, evolving into a way of life.

In 2021, Ethan took his love for hunting to the next level with an internship at Midwest Whitetail, where he honed his skills in media production and content creation. Since then, his career has taken him across the world, capturing and producing hunts in some of the most incredible places. Now back in Northeast Iowa, he continues to pursue world-class whitetails and big game adventures whenever the opportunity arises.

Ethan has been putting TUO gear to the test since early 2023, relying on its durability and performance in the field. Now, as an official member of the TUO Pro Staff, he’s excited to continue working with an innovative brand and share his experiences through captivating content.
